Community Participation

We provide various services for people with a disability to increase opportunities to participate in the community and explore ways to support change. Compassion Support Services will help you gain confidence in the community again. Our care promotes physical wellbeing including preventative monitoring of ongoing conditions and provision of direct treatments not able to be undertaken by the person because of their disability.

Support Group and Centre Activities

At Compassion Support Services we assist and encourage our clients to participate in community, social and recreational activities within a group setting. The goal is to be part of a stimulating environment in which participants can create networks. They make new friends, participate in activities, and learn new skills all whilst socialising and having fun. Group based activities and programs may include Arts and Crafts, TV and Movie night, going to the library, cooking, tours and even travel.

Assisted Travel and Transport

We can provide transport to enable individuals to fully participate in community, social, economic, and daily activities. This includes, but is not limited to, taxis and specialist transport arrangements. This service is provided when participants are unable to use alternative forms of transport due to their disability or are unable to use public transport independently.

Our assisted travel arrangements provide our clients with access to essential services, shopping, appointments, social events, holidays and more!
